There are two required DBA residency courses (DBA 800W and DSS 935W). Students are required to attend each residency course in full. If there are very extenuating circumstance, Academic Affairs must be notified in writing two to three weeks prior to the residency start date.
DBA 800W is designed for first year students entering the program to meet CCG faculty, staff and other DBA students. During the four-day residency, DBA 800 students will have the opportunity to align with DBA mentors who will help guide them through their experience at CCG. In addition, student specializing in QSM will attend the American Society for Quality BOSCON conference where they will attend the Student Track and learn about other research projects in Quality DSS 935W is a three-day residency designed for last year students who have completed their course work and are in their final stages of completing their dissertation. Students will present their research to CCG faculty, staff and other DBA students. In addition, students who have chosen to specialize in QSM, will have the opportunity to present their research at the ASQ BOSCON conference.
